Teaser Trailer Screening 2023

A few years ago I was commissioned to produce the official 2018 London Short Film Festival teaser trailer. The short trailer was shot on Super 8mmin and around central London. I took inspiration from the city’s lights and continual frenetic movement.

This year (2023) the LSFF were given the opportunity to promote the festival on the world-famous big screen at Piccadilly Circus. They screened this year’s festival trailer by filmmaker Andrew Knotting and all the other previous year’s commissions (including my own).

Here’s a short clip of my work up on the big screen for all the world to see. It was indeed a surreal experience!

On another note, this project was also submitted for one of my units (ASU1) whilst studying for my MA in Moving Image and Sound at Norwich University of the Arts. It’s funny to think it made it all the way to being screened on one of Europe’s biggest screens.

The track used in this clip is the original track used in the 2018 trailer. The track is by Demian Castellanos (The Oscillation).
